Nuwacell® fluorescent protein labeled hiPSC (scientific research-grade), originally developed by Nuwacell Biotechnologies Co., Ltd. is generated by insertion of reporter into the target sites using CRISPR-Cas9 technology. These constructed hiPSC can proliferate normally and express fluorescent protein stably for a long-time culture. More importantly, the afore-mentioned hiPSC displayed a typical human embryonic stem cells (hESCs)-like morphology, expressed hESCs pluripotency markers, maintained a normal karyotype, and had capacity to form three germ layers in vitro and in vivo, thus can be used in various stem cell related research and application.
